It was chaired by Priyath Liyanage, Head of the Sinhala Service at the BBC. EJN Secretary Pearl Thevanayagam was on the panl, along with  Frances Harrison (journalist), Charu Lata Hogg (Human Rights Watch), Raj Jayadevan (Alliance for Peace and Reconciliation in Sri Lanka) and Lal Wickrematunge (Sunday Leader, Sri Lanka) by phone.
