AGM is coming
The EJN AGM is coming up at the University of East London (Docklands Campus) on the afternoon of Saturday 19th of June. Every EJN member will be eligible to vote or stand for election at the AGM as long as their membership fee is honoured.
We will request £10 for the next year - an increase for the economically active members due to the lack of funds and a stronger commitment the current Management Committee would like to see from members. For destitute members of the EJN, there will still be a waiver.
We would be grateful if you could provide us with up-to-date contact details (postal address and telephone number/s) so we can update EJN records.
Your membership will allow you to continue accessing all the services the Network can provide such as:
- Advice and informational support.
- Attending training courses facilitated by the Network.
- Receiving information about job opportunities and, subject to availability, work placements, and being given first preference on any openings.
- Eligibility to vote and also seek nomination into the Board of Trustees.
- Use EJN facilities such as internet, phone and other services depending on your individual needs.
Of course the Network will continue to offer support in any other way it is able.
We would also like to ask you to step forward to the EJN board of trustees if you feel you can contribute to the betterment of our organization. If you wish to do so, or nominate someone, please inform the office in advance, so we can prepare adequate documentation early.
Please let us know if you will come to the meeting as we need to estimate the cost of travel expenses and a meal.
Looking forward to meeting you at the AGM.
Many thanks
EJN Coordinator, Nela Milic
